Dr. Israr Ahmed was an orator and informal teacher of the Quran in the public domain. He spent the whole of his life preaching his Quranic thoughts which he derived from different sources and origins. During the interpretation of Quranic verses, he set up some of his own ideas which he used during the verbal commentary of particular verses. He did not follow the traditional way of using Hadith while explaining the meanings of Quranic verses related to scientific facts. Such a personal approach to understanding the Quran has been presented in the elaboration of different phases especially with reference to modern scientific facts. In order to clarify that issue, the approach to the building of Quranic perception given and utilized by Dr. Israr Ahmed has been taken into account in the light of Muslim traditional thought. The series of lectures about Quranic interpretation delivered by him has been published with the title “Biyan ul Quran”. This study revolves around the abovementioned idea with the help of examples given in “Biyan ul Quran”.
