OCD is a psychological disorder which seriously disrupts the cognitive and behavioral aspects of human life. If it is left uncured, it can negatively affect the social life of an individual, thus, the present study focused on the prevention and treatment of OCD based on Islamic psychospiritual model of imam al Ghazali. Various solutions have been discussed for its eradication. As many people affected with OCD, approach clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, or religious scholars. Therefore, the findings of this study may be helpful for clinicians, psychological counselors, prayer leaders, and religious scholars.
