Abstract

Since knowledge of Quranic Tafseer holds an eminent position in Islam,many scholars worked relentlessly to explain Quranic commentary and among those Imam Rasa’ani of 7th century (A.H) is famous for his fabulous work named “Rumooz ul Kunooz”(Secrets of treasures).His methodology focuses on explaining Quran through  Quran,Sunnah,verdicts of the companions of the Holy Prophet(ﷺ),their disciples, language, personal opinion, reasons behind revelation(Asbab un nuzool),and Naskh. This research actually is an effort to highlight the major properties of the  above mentioned tafseer through examples and categorically recommendations are prescribed to get maximum benefits out of it.
