Abstract

Allah has created differences among people in various ways. Men and women, young and old, rich and poor—all are integral parts of society. These differences are a reflection of Allah's infinite wisdom and serve a greater purpose. The functioning of the world relies on these variations, as people with diverse abilities contribute their unique services, ensuring the smooth continuation of life's systems. Islamic law not only acknowledges these differences among individuals but also clearly defines the responsibilities of each person .A wealthy man is obligated to pay zakat to needy. Similarly as men have been granted a degree of superiority over women in certain aspects due to their nature, they are also responsible to provide livelihood for women. A young man is expected to respect the elders while the elders supposed to show kindness toward the younger ones. In today's Muslim society these differences among people are often misused. A husband misuse his qualities to oppress his wife, while the wife, and humiliate him as well. An elderly person may consider his right to scold younger individuals, while children view the elderly as unnecessary members of society. A wealthy may look down on the poor, while the poor, do not refrain from causing harm to the property of the rich. How can a harmonious and loving life be lived amidst these differences? How can mutual respect and dignity are upheld in society. This research paper will delve into key incidents from the blessed life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, offering practical lessons that can simplify and enhance our current social lives.
