Ancient Egypt, A Masterpiece of Sustainable Development: In the Light of Surah Yusuf

This study examines the correlation between the reforms implemented by Prophet Yusuf and the emergence of sustainable development practices in ancient Egypt. Employing a historical research methodology, the investigation delves into primary and secondary sources to analyze the socio-economic and environmental conditions of the era. The research contends that while Prophet Yusuf's leadership and divine guidance were instrumental in fostering stability, economic prosperity, and social justice, these factors alone do not fully account for Egypt's enduring sustainability. Rather, a complex interplay of geographical, cultural, and technological elements contributed to Egypt's remarkable achievements. By scrutinizing the evidence, this study seeks to provide a nuanced perspective on the relationship between religious leadership, societal structures, and environmental stewardship in shaping the trajectory of ancient Egyptian civilization.
