Abstract

This research aims to study the impact of the Nooraniyyah method in simplifying the learning of the Arabic language and facilitating the memorization of the Holy Quran for learners. We will explore the role of this educational approach in motivating students to memorize the Quran and develop their Arabic pronunciation skills in a simplified manner. Additionally, we will focus on the use of modern technologies and their assisting role in enhancing the learning process of the Nooraniyyah method and encouraging students to advance confidently and consistently in their study of the Arabic language and the Holy Quran. The Nooraniyyah method is an effective and well-known instructional approach used to teach Arabic and the Quran to children and beginners. It was authored by the late Sheikh Noor Muhammad Haqani, and its titles were translated and various means of teaching it were developed by the author's descendant, Engineer Muhammad Farooq Al-Raee. This method gained fame for its effectiveness in teaching reading, writing, Arabic language, and proper Quranic recitation. The Nooraniyyah method features a simple and systematic approach, starting with teaching the Arabic alphabet and the basic sounds of Arabic letters in a detailed manner. It consists of a series of rules and exercises that help learners understand and apply the rules of Tajweed (Quranic recitation) accurately. The primary objective of the Nooraniyyah method is to teach beginners how to read and recite the Quran with precision through intensive practical exercises. The method utilizes modern technologies to simplify the learning process and make it enjoyable for children. The use of colors stimulates interest and facilitates comprehension of concepts, distinguishing letters and words, thus making the learning process more accessible and memorable. The role of the Nooraniyyah method in teaching the Arabic language and the Holy Quran is highly significant as it provides a strong foundation for learners to comprehend Quranic texts and communicate proficiently in Arabic. Due to its effectiveness, the Nooraniyyah method has captured the attention of many Muslims worldwide and has been adopted in schools and educational centers to enhance comprehensive understanding of the Quran and the Arabic language. The research also highlights the key benefits of the Nooraniyyah method, its educational approach, and the biography of its revered author. Furthermore, it mentions the crucial role of modern technologies in teaching the Nooraniyyah method.
