The causes and reasons of mutual differences in the existing translations of the Holy Quran? An Analytical Review

Abstract

The Holy Qur'an is the foundation of Islam and the first source of guidance until the Day of Resurrection. Understanding its demands and getting acquainted with its teachings is the satisfaction of the soul of every Muslim. And it is obvious that non-Arab Muslims can get familiar with the Qur'an only through translation. Now the question arises as the Qur'an is an agreed upon book, why can't we get agree on its same translation? And why does every party seem to criticize the translation of another party? Basically, the Holy Qur'an is a book revealed by the Lord of the Universe. This Lord has not only created the entire universe, but is also completely controlling it, and is aware of its every particle and detail about present, past and future. In this book, he addresses his servants. The ignorant, and also pretenders of their own knowledge. Allah knows their right and wrong knowledge. He is also aware of the reality. He guides these disbelievers to the right path by informing them of the errors in their thoughts and actions through their own correct knowledge. Moreover, ignoring their unnecessary wrong information, he explains the matter in such a way that neither the people of the book at that time can say something wrong by referring to this book, nor today, after fourteen years, any scientist of today can refuse the Qur'anic ideas. C. Then, with all these details, the eloquence of the language is of such a high quality and wonder that none of the afsahul-Arab could present Surah, similar to it, nor today, after fourteen hundred years, artificial intelligence can bring words of its quality. It is obvious that taking care of all these things is not possible for any human being. For this reason, many people do not consider it correct to translate the Holy Quran. Those who have allowed the translation for the needs of the people, also do not believe in literal translation but allow interpretive translation. Now the differences in Urdu translations are of three types. A. Arabic was not correctly translated. B. Urdu wording was criticized. C. an attempt to prove one's theory.
