This study examines the rights and obligations of neighbors as laid out in Islamic teachings, with an emphasis on their applicability in the modern eral Muslims place a high value on neighbors, and how they should be treated is dictated by a set of moral standards that encourage peaceful cooperation and the prosperity of the communityl This study tries to clarify these ideas and how they are used in the complex and interconnected world of todayl Islamic traditions emphasize the value of friendly connections with neighbors, irrespective of their nationality or place of worshipl According to a recorded statement by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), "Angel Gabriel kept advising me about the neighbor so much that I thought he would make him an heirl" This hadith emphasizes how important it is to treat your neighbors with consideration, kindness, and compassion.lThe right to security is one of the fundamental liberties guaranteed to neighbors in Islaml Muslims are commanded not to cause physical, emotional, or behavioral harm to their neighborsl In the modern world, where social harmony and safety are crucial for community well-being, this principle has newfound relevancel The right to privacy is another important freedoml Islamic beliefs place a high value on respecting one's neighbors' privacy and refraining from meddling in their personal livesl These beliefs are consistent with current ethical norms in a world where privacy is valued highlyl Islam also promotes helping one's fellow man, especially in times of needl This exemplifies Muslims' need to be kind and supportive of their neighborsl This translates into charitable deeds and helping those in need in one's neighborhood in the modern world.l Additionally, it is a duty in Islam to preserve good ties with your neighborsl Muslims are urged to pay their neighbors a visit, exchange presents, and provide assistance in happy and sad timesl This promotes a sense of belonging and unity, both of which are becoming more and more important in our diverse culturesl Islam bases the rights and obligations of neighbors on the virtues of kindness, decency, and communal wellbeingl These principles, which encourage peaceful cohabitation, neighborly harmony, and community well-being, are still very applicable in the modern worldl Individuals and groups can contribute to a more inclusive and peaceful world by upholding these principles.
