Abstract

A genre of literature in which the praise of the Holy Prophet (SAW) is expressed is called Naat. Written love with Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) came in the form of Naat. Allah himself described his love for his beloved in the form of Naat. The process of Naat writing started in Arabia and continues till now. In Urdu literature almost every poet tried to describe his love in the form of Naat. The name of Mir Hassan is also prominent in it. Especially masnavi nigari took him to the heights of fame. In this article, Natya elements will be highlighted in Mir Hassan’s masnavi.
