Abstract

Our tafsir bil riway is full of asraeli Aasar with difference in the abundance of numbers. These are the Aasar taken from the people of book (ahl e Kitab) or someone has attributed to Muslims after fabrication. However, some of the commentators have criticized them while some have mentioned without criticism. In such situation it is interesting to wonder why they have come into Islamic treasury of knowledge? This article reviews the reasons that contributed to the penetration of these Aasar. In the same way to assess the negative effects of these Aasar had on the interpretation of Quran. All efforts have been made to bring them to the fore.
